Helena A. DeBald

Hi, I’m Helena, and I am a misfit.

I’ve never felt like I fit in any single box, and I always knew I wanted to make waves. I felt called to counter cultures, fringe thinking, and spiritual hygiene, and to be honest, I am still figuring out how all my many passions fit together into my purpose.

But I know I am here to take people on journeys that allow them to access their highest and best lives. Some of my first memories are of being creative: drawing in nature, getting curious about the world around me and how I could impact it, and making meaning through art. That’s why I created Wild Life Artistry: to make sure people like me who help, care for, and connect others are also showing that same radical kindness to themselves.

I am a cultivator and caretaker of my clients.

Through my work, I share my vision of a world where everyone is in touch with their personal power and inspired by everyday creative expression. My goal is to leave everything better than I found it by bringing joy, enthusiasm, creativity, and fun to the work of helping you discover your Wild Life.

Wild Life Artistry is for you if you:

  • are tired of talking about inspiring and being inspired but don’t see inspiration in your surroundings

  • want to deepen your connection to your intuition and personal truth

  • feel called to unlock and then infuse drive and power into the actions of your daily life

  • know you are the right person for a joyous journey into transformation beyond your wildest dreams

Why work with me?

I have thousands of hours of mentoring, counseling, teaching, and coaching experience.

Since 2014, I have been working in education building programs which ensure equitable and enriching experiences for participants, both in group and individual settings. My M.S. in Counseling and B.A. in Communications & Fine Arts provided me the foundation upon which I built this business.

I love transformational work, and I am so excited to share it with you.

My Coaching Programs Are Proven to Work.

I am a certified Clarity Coach (June 2021), trained in a program which has been adapted from a graduate level course from Stanford University and has been delivered to individuals and groups around the world since the 1970s.

I am a certified Health and Life Coach (May 2021) trained by the Health Coach Institute in a coaching method used to help thousands of people.

The personalized programs I develop for my clients are proven to get people unstuck and help them get results.

I am a practiced creator with a deep passion.

I don’t just call myself an artist…I live that identity in my every day life. Creativity is a core element of everything that I do, and I am deeply passionate about infusing my maker identity into any project I take on.

I am passionate about building systems and cultures which will celebrate diversity of thought and passion in all its forms, and I welcome any opportunity to help shape a world filled with inspiration.

I have been making for my entire life, and I don’t intend to stop now.

WHAT I BELIEVE

  • With love and acceptance from affirming people, everyone can live aligned and in touch with their core essence.

  • Personal pain and suffering cost you more than any investment you make in being the fullest, most vibrant version of you.

  • Transformation can be fun and easy, and must include laughter, community, and radical joy.

  • People are inherently creative and resourceful, but they have absorbed programming throughout their lives and experienced realities which have told them the opposite.

  • Connection to breath is a source of personal power, greatness, and capability.

I believe every human being has inherent value and power.  To create brave growth spaces where human potential can thrive and be celebrated, I commit to…

  • De-centering my privilege when needed and leveraging it when necessary to build a more equitable and just world.

  • Speaking truth to power, even if it is difficult or means my popularity will suffer.

  • Approach every interaction I have with love, empathy, and humility.

  • Continually question what I think I know while asking questions to understand, not to respond.

  • Approach everything I do with respect and a deeper contextual understanding of the ways in which power, privilege, and systems of oppression and trauma inform the people around me.

  • Bring radical joy into spaces I know will empower and mobilize communities to break cycles which have gone unchanged for far too long.
